Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Review audit work papers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit associates, providing guidance and support in audit procedures.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in compliance regulations and auditing standards to ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in public accounting and external audit.
- Strong understanding of GAAP standards.
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal control assessments is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
