Senior Associate Veterinarian - Dentistry

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including periodontal disease, dental fractures, oral tumors, and malocclusions.
• Conduct dental procedures such as cleanings, extractions, and oral surgeries.
• Educate pet owners on the importance of dental health and preventive care.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, including training and leadership roles in dental prophylaxis and oral surgery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• 3-5+ years of veterinary dentistry experience preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay

The base salary will fall between $180,000-$200,000 annually, with potential increases for weekend shifts.

Schedule

This role will be assigned to administrative days and in-clinic days across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey.
