About the role

The RoleAs a Structured Credit Associate, you will play a key role in executing structured credit transactions across various asset classes. Reporting to the Head of Client Integration, you will collaborate with financial institutions, alternative investors, and internal teams to deliver data-driven solutions that drive industry transformation. This role offers autonomy and exposure to global stakeholders, providing an opportunity to take ownership and make a significant impact in the alternative investment space.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze securitization and asset-based lending structures, extracting key insights from reports, legal documentation, and transaction mechanics to optimize investment strategies.
  • Work with large datasets, mapping data sources to Cardo AI's proprietary financial models (SQL, Python, R, or similar tools are a plus — training provided).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to financial institutions, delivering tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and returns.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless process implementation.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in structured finance, securitizations, leveraged finance, or asset-based lending.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets; familiarity with SQL and other tools is preferred.
  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to drive projects forward autonomously.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for client interaction in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of structured credit and asset-based finance concepts.

Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
