Senior Associate - Strategy & Management Technology Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Associate, you will help clients succeed in achieving their strategic management objectives by analyzing current capabilities, evaluating improvement opportunities, and partnering with them to develop and implement roadmaps for their desired future state. You’ll apply the firm’s analytical frameworks and methodologies—such as STAR, World Class IT, the Digital Maturity Assessment, and Getting to Nimble—to unpack complex situations and deliver impactful recommendations. This role offers high growth, autonomy, and the opportunity to work directly with thought leaders, C-level clients, and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects or major workstreams within larger engagements, managing relationships with senior clients and guiding junior staff.
• Drive key activities, including idea generation, hypothesis formulation, primary and secondary research, data collection and synthesis, and industry trend analysis.
• Develop client presentations, reports, and recommendations, and communicate findings to senior business and technology executives.
• Apply structured work plans to meet client expectations and ensure project team execution.
• Demonstrate business and technology acumen by solving complex problems using people, process, and technology solutions.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of post-undergraduate experience in a professional services, strategy, or management consulting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; a relevant graduate degree is a plus.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and untangle complex scenarios involving disparate data sources.
• Experience managing small projects or workstreams, including responsibility for up to 3 junior staff, in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven analytical skills, with the ability to manage and synthesize large amounts of data.
• Mastery of spreadsheet and presentation applications (e.g., MS PowerPoint, MS Excel); familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau) or visualization tools (e.g., MS Visio) is a plus.
