Senior Associate - Strategy & Business Management, Chase Auto
About the role
Chase Auto serves as a leading provider of auto financing to dealers, consumers, and manufacturers, with a portfolio of over $80 billion in assets and relationships across 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers. The Commercial Solutions group within Chase Auto delivers a full suite of commercial banking solutions for auto dealers, including Treasury Services, floorplan, real estate and acquisition financing, liquidity management, and other banking solutions.
As a Sr. Associate Strategic Business Management in Chase Auto Commercial Solutions, you will help design, drive, and execute the Commercial Solutions strategic agenda and drive disciplined execution across the organization. You will lead cross-functional projects impacting all existing and potential clients. This role is a direct report to the Head of Strategic Business Management in Commercial Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from discovery to execution, organizing teams, scoping requirements, structuring work, leading meetings, quantifying project impact, and identifying issues and actionable opportunities.
- Build consensus and progress initiatives in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and matrixed environment.
- Collaborate with teams across functional areas (e.g., product, finance, tax, legal, marketing, risk, data analytics, etc.).
- Develop content to help execute the business strategy (e.g., sales enablement, Town Hall materials, etc.) in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Conduct quantitative analysis across key topics (e.g., segmentation, incentives) to inform Chase Auto strategy.
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights into clear, hypothesis-driven, and recommendation-driven presentations.
- Conduct market and competitive intelligence to inform Chase Auto strategy.
- Help build presentation materials for Chase Auto senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, or partnerships.
- Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and ensure the organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets goals.
Skills
- Proven quantitative analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize a large volume of disparate data points (both quantitative and qualitative) to craft a clear narrative and build presentations.
- Proven experience collaborating across teams and lines of business within large organizations, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams.
- Strong interpersonal relationship development, stakeholder partnership, and communication skills.
- A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or graduate degree.
- Consulting experience with a top-tier consulting firm, especially with strategy-to-execution work.
