Senior Associate - Strategic Finance Advisory

About the role

We are partnered with a leading Single Client Advisory firm seeking External Auditors who want to transition into Corporate Accounting & Finance. This opportunity provides exposure to a wide range of industries and functions, including FP&A, M&A, Fund Accounting, Technical Accounting, and System Implementation work. Engagements are long-term and focused on upskilling you as an Accounting & Finance professional to advance your career. No prerequisite knowledge is required beyond an External Audit foundation and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred (will accept those in process)
• Minimum of 3 years of External Audit exposure with a Big 4 or large CPA firm
• Minimum of 3 busy seasons in external audit (will accept 2 main busy seasons and a summer busy season)

Skills

• High degree of professionalism, including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB, and SEC/ASC rules and standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables) desirable
