Senior Associate – Single Client Advisory – A&F

About the role

We are partnered with a leading Single Client Advisory firm seeking External Auditors, FDD, or Deals professionals who want to gain exposure to a wide range of industries and accounting/finance functions, such as FP&A, M&A, Fund Accounting, Technical Accounting, and system implementation work. The engagement is long‑term, focused on up‑skilling you as an accounting and finance professional and helping you advance to the next stage of your career. No prerequisite knowledge beyond an external audit foundation and a willingness to take on new challenges is required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters degree preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB, and SEC/ASC rules and standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables)
• High degree of professionalism, including the ability to communicate with C‑Suite level individuals

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred – candidates in the process will be considered

Desired Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of external audit exposure at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
• Minimum of 3 busy seasons in external audit (or 2 main busy seasons plus a summer busy season)
