Senior Associate, SALT Property Tax

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance.
  • Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation.
  • Aid in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS).
  • Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred.
  • Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax.
  • Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax.

California Salary Range: $73720 - $164565

Pay

Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, KPMG provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year.

Schedule

Our standard work hours are typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
