About the role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Financial Services Risk Consulting Practice. This role offers exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, as well as opportunities for career development and mentorship.
Responsibilities

- Engage with client process owners and external stakeholders, demonstrating critical thinking and industry knowledge.
- Develop executive presence and build meaningful relationships with clients.
- Support RSM’s diversity and inclusion initiatives by promoting authenticity and valuing varied perspectives.
- Support multiple client projects simultaneously, contributing to other firm initiatives.
- Participate in industry associations and events to build connections and gain industry insights.
- Contribute to business development efforts by participating in relevant events and building networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or related business discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, internal audit, or related internal control positions.
- Preferred qualifications include proficiency in professional writing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, exposure to data analytics tools, experience in capital markets, asset management, or specialty lending institutions, consulting firms, or regulatory agencies, and ability to pursue a job-relevant certification.
- Openness to workday flexibility, remote work, and agile environments.
- Effective communication and time management skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $77,700 - $146,900, with a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
