About the role
We are looking for a Senior Associate, Recruiting to own hiring across our Revenue & Operations organizations. In this role, you will manage the full recruiting lifecycle for a broad and varied set of business-critical roles — spanning sales, account management, marketing, finance, and business operations — partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders across the business. You will report to our Head of Talent Acquisition and work closely with our Co-Founders and leadership team to translate business priorities into hiring plans that keep pace with Talos’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruiting for roles across Talos’s Revenue & Operations organizations, partnering with hiring managers to define role scope, hiring strategy, and candidate profile.
- Source, engage, and close candidates across a wide range of commercial and operational functions, adapting your approach to each function’s market and talent pool.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse pipelines of passive and active talent.
- Drive the full recruitment lifecycle within Ashby, while leveraging RecOps support for scheduling and administrative needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing guidance on market dynamics, compensation benchmarking, and hiring best practices.
- Ensure an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience that reflects Talos’s standards from first touch through offer.
- Use data and reporting in Ashby to track pipeline health, forecast time-to-fill, and share hiring insights with leadership.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes and playbooks as the Revenue & Operations orgs scale.
Qualifications & Attributes
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally including both agency and in-house recruiting across commercial or business operations functions.
- Demonstrated ability to source and close candidates across a diverse set of roles simultaneously, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence with hiring managers and senior leaders.
- ATS Proficiency: Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System is required; experience with Ashby is a significant advantage.
- Baseline understanding of capital markets, fintech, or digital assets is preferred but not essential.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and professional, with strong ownership over your requisitions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Benefits
- Monthly wellness credit for personal use, such as gym memberships, massages, or even a ski pass for your next holiday.
- Paid lunches in the office.
- Monthly fitness and evening socials to foster connections with colleagues.
- Annual offsite events to engage with the wider team.
Pay
In New York City, the annual base compensation range is $120,000 - $150,000. This position is eligible for discretionary bonus.
