Senior Associate, R&D Tax Credits

A Tax Senior Associate specializes in Accounting Methods and Credit Services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development (R&D) tax credit consulting, lead client interviews, perform technical research, and develop industry expertise.
• Communicate directly with client personnel across various departments, manage multiple projects involving data gathering, analysis, and coordination, and assist in drafting opinion letters, IRS responses, ruling requests, and technical memoranda.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of recent tax experience in public accounting or corporate taxation.
• A bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel.
• Technical knowledge of R&D deduction and credit sections of the Internal Revenue Code (including sections 174 & 41), regulations, and relevant judicial authority is essential.
