About the role
The Senior Associate, Quality Control is a motivated, detail-oriented professional who will play an essential role in the company’s mission by completing peer-to-peer reviews of public record due diligence investigations on behalf of Vcheck’s roster of clients, including high-profile banks, law firms, and private equity firms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance on all due diligence reports according to applicable FCRA, Client Guidelines, and internal Vcheck Global reporting requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and intelligently summarize complex legal documents including liens, judgments, bankruptcies, criminal records, complaints, and other recorded documents.
- Conduct and review research on social media profiles, derogatory news, and general online presence.
- Maintain in-depth working knowledge of all protocols and reporting requirements.
- Produce accurate, precise reviews and high-quality deliverables in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the client relations team to ensure deliverables and timelines are achievable.
- Collaborate with outside third-party firms for document retrieval, court runner services, and additional research.
- Notify investigators of errors reported and respond to all inquiries received.
- Assist with process-related questions from teams and departments.
- Support team workloads and assist with quality audits and projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, or International Studies.
- 3+ years of related experience in Public Records + Due Diligence research.
- FCRA Regulation Knowledge.
- Knowledge of due diligence databases (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, CLEAR, TLO) and basic understanding of multiple fulfillment processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with confidential and sensitive information (PII).
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, and Teams.
