Senior Associate, Property Tax

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance
• Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
• Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
• Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS
• Bachelor’s degree required
• J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master’s in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred
• Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax
• Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax

Pay

California Salary Range: $77,330 – $157,665
