Senior Associate - Private Equity Fund Accounting

About the role
You will work directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance of our experienced team. You will facilitate our service offering by assisting, performing, and reviewing key tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support IQEQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds in diverse industries.
- Collaborate with your manager, team, and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time.
- Apply your understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations, and compliance.
- Prepare and review key financial tasks, including journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models.
- Manage audits, year-end processes, assist with onboarding new team members, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Over 3 years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
- Strong accounting knowledge and advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and preferably Investran.
- Ability to deliver exceptional client service while maintaining effective, professional communication.
- Collaborative team player who provides and accepts constructive feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed and consistently produce high-quality work under pressure.

Pay
$70,000–$95,000, dependent on experience and location.
