Senior Associate, Private Credit Investment Analytics
About the Role
Supports NLG Capital's private credit investment activities through investment analytics, portfolio monitoring, and reporting. Applies financial and analytical expertise to evaluate investment performance, assess credit and portfolio information, identify trends and risks, and provide insights that support informed investment decisions. Works independently on complex assignments and partners with investment professionals and other stakeholders to support underwriting, portfolio oversight, and recurring and ad hoc analytical needs. The ideal candidate brings strong investment and financial analysis capabilities, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform recurring and ad hoc investment analytics to support private credit investment activities and portfolio oversight.
- Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools used to evaluate investments, portfolio performance, and credit risk.
- Support underwriting and investment evaluation through financial analysis, due diligence, and assessment of investment opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio investments, performance trends, and risk factors; identify and communicate material developments and insights.
- Prepare investment analyses, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate findings to investment professionals and other stakeholders.
- Partner with investment professionals and cross-functional stakeholders to address complex analytical needs and support informed investment decisions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytical processes, tools, reporting, and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
- Exercise independent judgment in addressing complex analytical assignments and adapting approaches as circumstances require.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 4 or more years of related experience.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial and investment information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate analytical findings effectively.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in private credit, investment management, or a related investment discipline.
- Advanced financial modeling and investment analytics experience.
- Experience with investment data, reporting, or analytical platforms.
- Experience applying AI to investment analysis or analytical workflows.

Schedule
This position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you will be in the office four (4) days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.
Pay
Base pay range: $140,625 - $206,250 USD. The base pay range for this position is the range National Life reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors, including: prior experience and job-related knowledge; education, training and certificates; current business needs; and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. The total compensation package may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in National Life's discretionary annual incentive programs, subject to the rules governing such programs. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and National Life reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
