Senior Associate - Portfolio Reconciliation
About the role
Ensure that staff complete assigned responsibilities, on a timely and accurate basis. Supervise team members, providing training and guidance, while monitoring their productivity and quality levels. Assist management in establishing departmental procedures and managing day-to-day operations. Work with your team to prepare reports, and perform various types of reconciliations, to ensure that data is accurate, and client service expectations are met. Oversee the team, as it opens, maintains and closes new, active, or terminating client accounts, with due diligence and attention to detail, to deliver error-free reconciliations and reporting. Perform portfolio reconciliation for diverse asset classes, complete portfolio reporting, and review the reconciliation and reporting work performed by the analysts on your team, in alignment with requirements. Troubleshoot reports, and problem-solve complex performance reporting issues. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, as their main operational contact. Work closely with the product design/development teams to understand the clients’ portfolios and fund structures as well as required deliverables.

Requirements
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office products.
- 2+ years’ experience in financial services, with fintech tools/systems (Archway, Geneva, etc).
- Emphasis on organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task, with a rigorous attention to detail.
- The self-motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables, without sacrificing excellence or quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, to actively support your clients via email, videoconference and/or voice calls.
Qualifications
- BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience as an Analyst, or equivalent role, in financial services required.
Skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office products.
- Organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task, with a rigorous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
