About the role
A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice focuses on helping private equity firms improve operating results at their portfolio companies. The MI&C team provides a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value, working across the full spectrum of the deal lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Identify key client business issues and assist with innovative approaches to address them.
- Evaluate and validate analysis, and develop recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.
- Assist with various workstreams or focus areas within the Integration Management Office (IMO) such as synergies, TSAs, blueprinting, day 1 readiness, executive reporting, integration roadmap, communications, organizational design, day 1 and day 100 planning, execution, and performance improvement.
- Drive performance improvement assessments across an enterprise and implement recommendations.
- Track progress against day 1 and day 100 objectives and adjust integration strategies or personnel as needed.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
- Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus, but not required.
- Deep functional expertise in finance & accounting operations, HR/Organizational design, leadership and stakeholder involvement, communications planning and management, knowledge management and transfer.
- Success in planning and driving revenue and profitability growth initiatives operationally, and program management and leadership experience.
- MBA preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Initiative and drive, critical thinking skills, flexibility to travel at least 75% of time.
