Senior Associate, New Verticals - Fulfillment Strategy & Operations

About the Role

We are looking to build out our team with a Senior Associate who will focus on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives on the New Verticals Central Ops pod. You will lead the scoping, go-to-market, and iteration of cutting-edge product features to help DoorDash improve order quality and selection across our Convenience, Grocery, Alcohol, and Retail businesses. Your work will include attracting more Dashers into shopping, building the tools & technology they use in-store, and ensuring the right supply is available in the right place at the right time. This is an individual contributor position reporting to a Manager within the Central Ops group of our New Verticals Strategy & Operations organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to drive business decision-making, unpack customer feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Own and deliver on improving key metrics, creating quarterly and annual plans aligned with product capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional work streams with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Designers to develop best-in-class product features.
• Solve ambiguous problems end-to-end, displaying ownership and motivating teammates.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience, ideally in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, banking, food & beverage, or high-growth startups.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree.

Skills

• Analytical mindset with strong data-driven decision-making skills and proficiency in Excel; SQL experience is a bonus.
• Operational expertise with the ability to work at both detailed and strategic levels.
• Problem-solving from first principles, resisting conventional thinking.

Pay

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado, is $87,000—$128,000 USD. Base salary is localized according to work location, and the range may be modified in the future. Compensation includes opportunities for equity grants.

Schedule

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
