About the role
The Associate Manager, Marketplace is responsible for driving market share and profit growth through the development and execution of marketplace strategies. This role involves collaborating with brand marketing, customer planning, and sales teams to optimize cross-channel assortment, pricing strategy, innovation pipeline, and new business development. You will also own key executional tasks supporting the One-Newell marketplace management authorized seller policies and work with every business segment omni enablement lead.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the broader marketplace team in developing and implementing marketplace strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities; collaborate with brand partners to develop and execute innovation pipelines.
- Track and analyze marketplace performance metrics; provide regular reports and actionable insights to enable operational improvements.
- Assist in managing and updating product listings, digital assets, and content on various eCommerce platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in managing relationships with third-party vendors and partners involved in eCommerce operations.
- Systematically execute monthly eControl quality control buys for Pan-Newell and report findings.
- Monitor and manage eControl within the broader marketplace in partnership with the Marketplace Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 or more years of experience in marketplace management, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and online retail environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and eCommerce analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to work independently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing eCommerce content, product listings, and digital assets.
Pay
The New Jersey base pay range for this position is $84,480 – $116,160. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
