Job Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of reconciliation and operational processes.
- Resolve complex operational exceptions through investigation and root cause analysis.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
- Partner with various departments to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.
- Review and challenge fund administrator processing for accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Contribute to initiatives that automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Support system enhancements, platform migrations, and new business implementations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve scalability.
- Affiliate with operational KPIs and reporting.
- Participate in testing activities for new systems and process enhancements.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and strategic process improvement projects.
- Support implementation of technology-enabled solutions.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Investment Operations or related financial services functions.
- Extensive experience with bank loan operations, private credit, syndicated loans, or alternative investments.
- Experience leading operational improvement initiatives and business transformation projects.
- Strong experience managing complex operational risk and designing control frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience partnering with Technology on automation and system implementations.
- Strong understanding of investment operations, accounting principles, and operational controls.
- Experience with custodian banks, agent banks, broker dealers, and fund administrators.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
- Experience with Wall Street Office, Geneva, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar technologies is desirable.
- Experience within alternative investments, private credit, private equity, or hedge funds is preferred.
Pay
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000, Plus Bonus
