Senior Associate, Investment Accounting - Registered Products

Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes for registered fund products.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting packages, as well as materials provided to the Fund Administrator.
• Aid in quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP, including preparation of supporting schedules and footnote disclosures.
• Collaborate with external service providers, including the Audit Firm, Fund Administrator, and Custodian Bank, to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Support the Tax team with data requests related to RIC and other tax compliance requirements.
• Contribute to financial analysis, data aggregation, and ad-hoc reporting projects as needed by internal Adams Street team members.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting is required.
• 3–6 years of relevant fund accounting experience, preferably within private equity, private credit, or fund administration.
• Experience with registered investment company (RIC) or business development company (BDC) accounting preferred.
• Exposure to public company financial reporting or related SEC filings is a plus.
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong organization, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
