Role Overview: The Senior Associate in International Tax collaborates with high-profile clients to advise on complex global tax strategies, business structuring, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Tax Planning & Advisory: Guide multinational enterprises on location decisions, entity choices, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization, considering tax risks, effective tax rates, and cash flow. Prepare and review complex tax models and analyze tax implications.Transaction Support: Assist with structuring mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and IPOs, drafting tax opinions, memos, and models to illustrate tax benefits of various structures.Compliance & Reporting: Help prepare tax provisions for financial statements, review compliance work, and support audit teams on global tax reporting.International Tax Strategies: Advise on treaty planning for inbound/outbound investments and trading activities, supporting clients across all investment stages, especially in the alternative investment space. Qualifications & Skills At least three years of experience in international, M&A, or federal tax planning.Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees (JD, LLM, Masters) preferred.Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax laws.Excellent research, writing, Excel modeling, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements, lead teams, develop client relationships, and deliver exceptional service.
