Role Overview The Senior Associate in International Tax advises multinational enterprises on complex tax planning, business decisions, and global operations. Responsibilities include guiding clients on entity selection, supply chain optimization, capital mobilization, and structuring transactions like mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs. Assist with tax modeling, provision preparation, compliance review, and analyzing cross-border tax treaty opportunities. Work collaboratively with teams on tax implications related to financial reporting and global transactions, providing insights for strategic decision-making. Specifically support alternative investment clients throughout their investment lifecycle, addressing their unique international tax needs. Qualifications & Skills At least three years of experience in international, mergers & acquisitions, or federal tax planning.Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (JD, LLM, Master’s in Taxation) preferred.Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax laws.Excellent research, writing, Excel modeling, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements, lead teams, and develop client relationships.Commitment to professional growth and delivering exceptional client service. Key Duties Guide clients on global tax strategies aligned with business objectives.Structure and analyze cross-border transactions, including M&A and joint ventures.Prepare tax models, compliance documentation, and financial reporting support.Identify and advise on international tax treaty opportunities.Support the development of junior staff and foster strong client relationships.
