Senior Associate, International Benefits and Global Mobility
About the role
Our International Benefits and Global Mobility team in Human Resources is looking for someone motivated to support International Benefits administration and Global Mobility projects, programs, and process improvements. This includes vendor management, global governance, and oversight of benefits policy implementations across Capital One locations outside of the United States. The focus is on governance, administration, and compliance of benefit programs, including audits, risk management, and driving global alignment and process improvement initiatives.
The person in this role will manage associate inquiries for global mobility, identify and resolve process and system breakdowns, use experience and AI to streamline processes, improve system functionality, and ensure an exceptional associate experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage HR processes and programs, making decisions related to processes and initiating program/process improvements to mitigate risk and elevate associate experiences.
- Research and execute Benefits programs, identifying improvements and opportunities to elevate associate experiences internationally.
- Complete project assignments, delegating work within the team, managing programs and processes collaboratively, and seeing projects through to completion, including final value on investment analyses.
- Partner with HR Senior Leadership and HR Business Partners regarding International Benefits and Global Mobility processes and programs.
- Prepare slide presentations and conduct data analyses as needed.
- Serve as a relationship manager for internal partners and external vendors.
- Collaborate with associates across HR, domestically and internationally, and provide consultation on HR processes and applications.
- Prepare documentation for global governance and benefits committees.
- Leverage AI to expedite problem-solving, drive process efficiency, and improve associate experiences.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
- At least 1 year of Process or Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR)
- Project Management Certification
- Process Management Certification
- At least 1 year of experience in Benefits Administration
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management
- 2+ years of experience in Process Management

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Assoc., Benefits
- Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Assoc., Benefits
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
