Senior Associate General Counsel | Legal Services

Responsibilities

• Provides expert legal advice and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manages litigation and dispute resolution to minimize organizational risk.
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts while supporting corporate governance practices.
• Supports policy development and collaborates with external counsel and regulatory agencies.
• Maintains awareness of legal and regulatory changes impacting business operations and ensures proactive compliance.
• Offers strategic legal insights and guidance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.
• Minimum 7+ years experience in senior legal advisory roles, including 7+ years in real estate and construction law.
• Proven expertise in litigation management and dispute resolution.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation and corporate governance.
• Experience advising senior leadership on legal and regulatory matters.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and policy oversight.
• Licensure/Certification: Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Florida preferred or ability to obtain).
• PREFERRED: Experience supporting or leading healthcare-related transactions.
• PREFERRED: Active license to practice law in Florida.
