Senior Associate General Counsel

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Act as primary legal counsel on asset management and federal securities laws
• Provide sound legal advice on regulatory compliance and enforcement under SEC and FINRA rules
• Monitor industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and legal documents effectively
• Address day-to-day legal issues and provide practical solutions to business challenges

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school with 15+ years of experience
• Licensed to practice law in at least one state and in good standing
• Experience in both law firm and in-house environments preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and ERISA regulations
• Familiarity with complex financial instruments and wealth management obligations

Pay

$140,000 – $205,000 annually
