The Senior Associate, Fund Administration (Core IS) role is based in the United States and offers support to leading private market organizations through high-quality fund administration and investor services.
About the role
You will act as a trusted operational partner, helping clients manage critical workflows, payments, compliance activities, and investor operations. The position combines client service, project management, process improvement, and financial operations expertise in a fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support fund administration and investor services operations by managing client workflows, ensuring accuracy, and delivering exceptional service.
- Manage investor services workflows, including investor position creation, workspace management, and review processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support clients through fundraising activities by understanding objectives, timelines, and operational requirements.
- Deliver guidance on operational best practices while escalating scope changes, risks, or complex issues when needed.
- Manage treasury-related activities, including recording investor contributions, processing payments, and supporting transaction workflows.
- Investigate payment exceptions, chargebacks, and reconciliation issues while coordinating resolutions with banking partners.
- Maintain client health, gather feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery.
- Identify operational improvements, strengthen controls, and recommend process enhancements to leadership.
Requirements
- Experience in fund administration, investor services, or related financial operations, with 3+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, client servicing, and investment administration workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex workflows accurately.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to identify challenges, take ownership, and implement solutions.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining strong execution.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving, high-growth environment.
- Experience using financial technology platforms or operational software is a plus.
