About the role

Join the Offers & Shopping Finance team within the Consumer & Community Banking Connected Commerce Finance organization at JPMorganChase for an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver robust financial analysis and business support for the Offers and Shopping business. As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate, you will drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term modeling, present clear and actionable financial reports and recommendations to senior management, and oversee the preparation and reconciliation of accounting and technical data. You will also maintain and improve financial reporting systems, champion process improvements and automation, collaborate in cross-functional initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure strong financial controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process for the Offers & Shopping business, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and present executive-level materials to support month-end close processes.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to evaluate and implement new business opportunities, leveraging market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and insights to leadership to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance, partnering with risk, audit, and other control functions as needed to maintain the integrity of financial processes and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support team members on special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a subject of a technical nature.
  • 4+ years of work experience in Financial Services with a background in Finance, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting/Controller, or similar fields.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets.
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management.
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
