Senior Associate, Finance

About the role

This position is responsible for all estimating and bidding (pricing) duties for the ForceX Division based in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities include compiling data inputs, verifying cost principles, deploying strategic pricing recommendations, supporting compliant bids to U.S. Government and commercial customers, and maintaining a compliant pricing system within the business unit. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in finance or accounting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contributor on a cross‑functional team (Business Development, Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Contract Management) to support proposal creation for all business pursuits.
• Support financial analysis and review of proposal costs, risks, and opportunities during cost & price reviews.
• Understand, communicate, and recommend cost and price strategies that achieve the division’s growth targets.
• Work with the proposal team to propose/negotiate preferred L3Harris customer payment terms.
• Assist in developing a business case, when necessary, to ensure a successful Price Review.
• Perform analyses and/or financial models to aid senior management’s understanding of how a proposal meets division goals and to support negotiations.
• Prepare and analyze the financial structure of proposals, agreements, product plans, or business plans, including any required investments.
• Apply understanding of revenue recognition and P&L forecasting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 1 year of experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in strategic pricing, price and cost modeling, financial planning and analysis, general accounting, revenue & cost forecasts, and budget management.
• Experience in contract pricing, program/project management, contract administration, and international procurement/payment terms.
• Demonstrated experience delivering financial presentations to senior management.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to concisely translate key financial issues/impact to management.
• Self‑starter with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to implement new initiatives, build consensus, and use personal leadership to enable change.
• Adaptable, quick to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Experience with ProPricer or other similar pricing tools.

Pay

Salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas: $76,500 – $141,500. Final offer may vary based on experience, geographic location, and other factors.
