Senior Associate, Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Performs Construction Project Management
• Plans, designs, and oversees the reconfiguration, construction, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities
• Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions and guidelines, required completion schedule, and execution feasibility
• Utilizes AutoCad software to develop concept and construction documents for a wide range of Facility projects
• Collaborates with architecture and engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings
• Prepares bid sheets, project justification, statement of work documents, and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
• Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
• Manages to approved budgets and approves contracts and purchases
• Oversees the construction and installation to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, cost, and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineer experience
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related facilities engineer experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related facilities engineer experience
