Senior Associate - Employment and Labor Relations (Indianapolis)

About the role

Taft is seeking a team-oriented Senior Associate to join its Employment and Labor practice group in the Indianapolis office. The ideal candidate will have experience with, or a desire to focus on, management-side employment law litigation and counseling, including experience taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and advising on litigation strategy. Experience in wage and hour collective and class actions would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking and defending depositions

• Experience in wage and hour collective and class actions (preferred)

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience
• Exceptional academic and professional credentials
• Superior research, writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in Indiana
• Passport (for international travel)

• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
