Senior Associate Electrical Engineer
About the role
The Senior Associate Electrical Engineer leads multidisciplinary project teams and drives high-quality engineering solutions from concept through delivery. They provide both technical and project leadership, serve as Lead Engineer and when approved, as the Engineer of Record (EOR). They oversee project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and progress tracking to ensure successful and profitable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Project team leadership and budget management; utilize tools and resources for project planning, forecasting, progress tracking
- Technical leadership of PAE’s design scope as Lead Engineer and/or EOR with approval
- Prepare deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Improve the technical operations of the company
- Engage in PAE’s success
- Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction
- Advanced understanding of the application of building codes and industry standards
- Oversee design calculations and equipment selection
- Communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Mentor and develop staff
- Promote a culture of excellence and enforce the company’s Quality Management Plan to ensure the highest level of project performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering for discipline work
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Relevant professional credential within discipline (PE, CPD, RCDD, etc.)
- Significant experience in a management or leadership role
- Inspire and motivate staff
- Effective leadership and people skills
- Lead and manage projects successfully and profitably
- Demonstrate commitment to PAE
- Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills
- Serve as a senior technical resource for the company
- Project leadership skills including billing, reporting, resource allocation and scheduling
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Limited Revit/AutoCAD

Pay
Hiring Base Salary Range: $117,800-$166,400 annually
