Senior / Associate Director - Construction Scheduler
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and establish scheduling management processes, standards, and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
- Prepare and maintain baseline schedules, schedule basis documents, and integrated schedules by consolidating contractor schedules and ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.
- Review, analyze, and validate contractor schedules for logic, constructability, contractual compliance, schedule quality, resource loading/leveling, and overall schedule integrity.
- Monitor project performance through schedule health assessments, critical path and near-critical path analysis, schedule variance tracking, trending, and scenario planning; recommend and support corrective actions when required.
- Facilitate schedule reviews and workshops with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and credible schedule information is incorporated and maintained.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies, perform schedule analytics, and prepare periodic progress reports, dashboards, trend analyses, and executive-level schedule communications.
- Maintain records of scope changes, trends, risks, assumptions, and variances that may impact schedule performance, and assess associated impacts to project delivery.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to project stakeholders, clients, and consultants by providing scheduling expertise, strategic guidance, and recommendations throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) and other schedule risk assessments at key project milestones to evaluate schedule uncertainty and support informed decision-making.
- Execute SOX control responsibilities and maintain compliance with applicable governance, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.
- Expertise using Primavera P6.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience developing level 3 and level 4 construction schedules.
Qualification Requirements
- Certification Requirements: Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).
- Expertise using Oracle Primavera Cloud, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheets (preferred).
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $150K-$200K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
