Job Description Ares Digital Infrastructure (“ADI”) is part of Ares's Real Assets platform, created to invest in high-quality digital infrastructure assets to support the growth of the ever-expanding global demand for data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Ares Digital Infrastructure has built a large portfolio of data center assets globally, recently completing its inaugural US$2.4 billion data center development fund in Japan. ADI is supported by Ada Infrastructure, its wholly-owned global data center operating platform. Ada Infrastructure provides development, leasing, asset management, facilities management, security, and other customer services to ADI’s data center asset portfolio. Responsibilities The team is seeking a Senior Associate in New York who will work closely with the investment team on sourcing, due diligence, and executing investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for a strong performer who has experience with financial analysis and research through other experience. Responsibilities include: Investment researchFinancial analysis, valuation, and modelingIndustry and competitive analysisBusiness diligenceDrafting of memoranda for internal and external useConduct research on companies, industries, and asset classesPerform all pertinent financial analysesPrepare due diligence packs for the investment team, providing relevant, informative analytics, and background researchConduct interviews with industry expertsPrepare written summaries and presentation materials for the investment teamBuild detailed operating models on prospective dealsDraft information memorandum and marketing materials for the investment teamProvide overall support to investment team Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with excellent academic record Experience Required 3-6 years of investment banking, private equity, principal investing, or consulting experience General Requirements Self-motivated and driven; ability to work effectively in a collegial, fast moving, demanding, dynamic and global businessFluent spoken and written communication in English.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong technical skills and ability to build complex operating modelsExcellent research and due diligence skills with an aptitude for numeracyExceptional interpersonal skills as well as being a team playerEvidence of intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and adaptabilitySolid organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to prioritizeImpeccable integrity and trustworthiness Reporting Relationships Managing Director, Infrastructure Equity Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role. $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 The firm also offers robust Benefits offerings.
