About the role

A DevOps Engineer is an IT generalist who has a wide-ranging knowledge of both development and operations, including coding scripts, infrastructure management, system administration, automation and DevOps toolchains. Embedded into client application deployment lifecycle, DevOps Engineers have a strong understanding of common system architecture, provisioning, and administration, but must also understand the traditional developer toolset and practices such as using source control, giving and receiving code reviews, writing unit tests, and agile principles.

Responsibilities

  • Supports ADOT or similar government environments with security and compliance needs.
  • Manages and automates infrastructure using cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Collaborates with developers to ensure seamless integration between development and production environments.
  • Monitors applications and infrastructure for performance and security issues.
  • Optimizes release and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant security and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • DevOps experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong skills in containerization, monitoring, and release/deployment optimization.
  • Experience supporting ADOT or similar government environments with security and compliance needs.
  • Knowledge of common system architecture, provisioning, and administration.
  • Understanding of traditional developer toolset and practices such as using source control, giving and receiving code reviews, writing unit tests, and agile principles.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience supporting ADOT or similar government environments with security and compliance needs.
  • Strong skills in containerization, monitoring, and release/deployment optimization.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience working in a DevOps role within a client application deployment lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage and automate infrastructure using cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.

Pay

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $73,440 to $139,680 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.

Schedule

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans.
