Senior Associate, Communications, Technology
Job Description
The Senior Associate is responsible for program and project-level execution support on a maximum of four accounts.
- Keeps their teams on task for deliverables.
- Writes content, liaises with media, and has an active voice on client accounts.
- Informally coaches entry-level colleagues and begin to develop both client and people management skills.
- Understands INK’s client markets and ramps up quickly on new ones.
- Participates in INK’s professional development program to develop their communications expertise and gains insight into other marketing specializations.
- Embolies all of INK’s values, particularly Energetic (go the extra mile for our clients, colleagues, and craft), Effectiveness (results that matter), and Evolved (always learning and applying new knowledge).
- Sets and reaches goals and is coached through big and small challenges.
- Supports the communications team and reports to a Senior Manager- or Director-level colleague.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in PR or marketing, agency experience preferred
- Experience in technology and/or renewable energy, preferred
- Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
- Ability to organize and manage tasks and priorities on multiple clients
- Experience working on and playing a leadership role on teams
- Desire to be coached and to learn and grow in a communications career
- Demonstrates strong work ethic and personal accountability
Starting Salary Range
$65,000+, commensurate with experience and location
