Job Title: Senior Associate, CAS Department: Client Accounting Services (CAS) Location: Remote Successful candidates should have the following: 2-5 years of accounting, accounts payable, and/or bookkeeping experienceAbility to track and understand partnership investmentsAbility to understand and accurately record brokerage transactions. Strong understanding of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and financial analysis skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExceptional organizational and project management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with ExcelAbility to work independently and collaboratively with team members as neededExperience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, Xero, and Gusto is a plusKnowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/ OCBOA) and annual tax compliance is a plus. The ability to train and manage staff is a plusPublic Accounting experience is a plus Responsibilities: Coordinate accounting functions and programsPrepare financial work papers and reportsAssist with monitoring, maintaining, and reconciling financial accounts and Accounts PayableMaintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts as requiredPrepare annual compliance reports: 1099s, City Tax, etcPrepare financial statements, including a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, General Ledger, Trial Balance, and other Ad Hoc reportsCoordinate financial statement preparation and supporting documents for annual tax preparation and quarterly extension paymentsInvestigate and resolve account discrepancies and non-compliance issues by communicating with all levels of management, clients, and third partiesContribute to developing new or amended accounting systems, programs, and proceduresPerform other accounting research, accounting duties, and supporting staff as required or assigned additional training staff Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree (majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline) Benefits: G|S offers market-leading benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, profit-sharing plan contributions, 401K match, parental leave, generous PTO, and holiday-paid time off. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
