Senior Associate, Business Development - Global Law

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create and manage phone and email campaigns to connect with existing and prospective users
  • Partner with senior members of the Service team to develop and deliver nuanced expert solutions for GLG’s law firm and in-house counsel clients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of legal market, as well as the macro business environment, disseminating relevant content to the rest of the team as appropriate
  • Collaborate with colleagues on and across teams to build and shape the business
  • Contribute to key strategic initiatives established by GLG leadership

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional sales experience
  • Bachelor's or higher degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Superior communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities
  • Confidence in making outbound cold calls
  • Receptive to coaching and feedback
  • Demonstrated commitment, judgment, emotional maturity, and intensity, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hustle attitude
  • Comfortable using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required
  • Entrepreneurial zeal and deep desire to build a business
  • Understanding, awareness and/or interest in the legal industry but not a necessary prerequisite
