About the role
Aldridge Pite, LLP is a multi-state law firm that specializes in leveraging technology to enhance its work flow with clients and business partners. The firm provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of clients including depository and non-depository financial institutions, institutional investors, private firms, and commercial entities.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception to completion
- Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
- Draft court pleadings, defend motions
- Handle discovery
- Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
- Other duties and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law
- Admission to practice law in the state of California. Admission to practice law in the state of Utah preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseload
