About the role

Aldridge Pite, LLP is a multi-state law firm that specializes in leveraging technology to enhance its work flow with clients and business partners. The firm provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of clients including depository and non-depository financial institutions, institutional investors, private firms, and commercial entities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception to completion
  • Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
  • Draft court pleadings, defend motions
  • Handle discovery
  • Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
  • Other duties and special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law
  • Admission to practice law in the state of California. Admission to practice law in the state of Utah preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Ability to manage and prioritize caseload
