Senior Associate, Alternative Assets

Our client, a leading institutional investment manager, is seeking a Sr. Associate, Alternative Assets to join its investment team. This role offers exposure across private equity, private credit, secondaries, co-investments, and other alternative investment strategies.ResponsibilitiesConduct due diligence on alternative investment managers and opportunities.Evaluate private market investments across a variety of asset classes.Prepare investment recommendations and supporting materials for internal committees.Monitor portfolio performance and manager activity.Assist with portfolio construction and allocation decisions.Build relationships with GPs, fund managers, and industry participants.Analyze market trends and emerging opportunities within private markets.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.5+ years of experience in alternative investments, asset management, insurance investing, pensions, endowments, OCIOs, or fund-of-funds platforms.Experience conducting manager due diligence and evaluating private market investments.Strong understanding of private equity, private credit, and institutional investing.Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
