Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models
- Revising assumptions
- Preparing Statutory, Tax, and US GAAP financial reports
- Analyzing financial results and variances
- Leading projects to improve valuation processes
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls (SOX)
- Preparing financial projections
- Documenting results
- Supporting internal and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics or a related field
- At least 4 years of actuarial experience in a life insurance valuation role
- 4 years of life insurance financial reporting experience, including calculating reserves, under the following regimes US GAAP, Solvency II, US Statutory, and US Tax
- 2 years of experience with corporate capital calculation or corporate capital planning
- 2 years of experience utilizing actuarial modelling software (Prophet, AXIS, or equivalent)
- 4 years of experience using Excel to automate insurance or financial workflows
- 4 years of experience utilizing SQL-based database applications (Oracle, Vertica, or equivalent) to manage and organize data
- 1 year of experience coding using PL/SQL or equivalent
- ASA designation required
- Completed one of the following FSA exams: Life Product Management (ILALPM), Life Financial Management (ILALFMU/C), or Life ALM and Modeling (ILALAM)

The offered salary is $131,872.00 and is non-negotiable.
