Senior Asset Manager

Responsibilities

• Cook up and distribute capital calls, installments, and loan disbursements
• Spot changes in asset performance versus underwriting expectations
• Chat with real estate developers, investors, and professional service firms
• Make sure investment benefits are delivered on time
• Collect and deliver portfolio reporting requirements
• Analyze transaction legal documents
• Prepare Monthly Portfolio Reviews for senior leadership
• Check the accuracy of newly onboarded transactions
• Handle challenging, complex deals and modifications
• Understand and communicate risks associated with deals
• Be a go-to expert on one or more Twain products/investments
• Bring new ideas to improve department efficiency
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Approve and facilitate borrower draw requests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3-5 years of direct experience in asset managing one or more of these investment types: Historic Tax Credit (HTC), Ground Lease, Sale-Leaseback, Renewable Energy, Bridge Loan, and Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE)
• Experience in real estate operations or investment
• Effective communication skills, business acumen, attention to detail, curious mindset, independent thinker, works independently with little oversight, works collaboratively with other teams, exhibits a positive attitude, flexible, and employs a growth mindset
• Prior experience in tax credit or incentive programs
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Copilot
• Highly motivated, able to multi-task, and driven by a fast-paced environment
