Responsibilities
- Cook up and distribute capital calls, installments, and loan disbursements
- Spot changes in asset performance versus underwriting expectations
- Chat with real estate developers, investors, and professional service firms
- Make sure investment benefits are delivered on time
- Collect and deliver portfolio reporting requirements
- Analyze transaction legal documents
- Prepare Monthly Portfolio Reviews for senior leadership
- Check the accuracy of newly onboarded transactions
- Handle challenging, complex deals and modifications
- Understand and communicate risks associated with deals
- Be a go-to expert on one or more Twain products/investments
- Bring new ideas to improve department efficiency
- Mentor less experienced team members
- Approve and facilitate borrower draw requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3-5 years of direct experience in asset managing one or more of these investment types: Historic Tax Credit (HTC), Ground Lease, Sale-Leaseback, Renewable Energy, Bridge Loan, and Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE)
- Experience in real estate operations or investment
- Effective communication skills, business acumen, attention to detail, curious mindset, independent thinker, works independently with little oversight, works collaboratively with other teams, exhibits a positive attitude, flexible, and employs a growth mindset
- Prior experience in tax credit or incentive programs
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Copilot
- Highly motivated, able to multi-task, and driven by a fast-paced environment
