Senior Asset Management Consultant

The role will require in-person meetings at various client sites and may support projects across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex datasets in Enterprise Asset Management systems (e.g., IBM Maximo, Trapeze, Hexagon EAM), develop KPIs, analyze trends, and perform descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Develop models and tools to support risk assessment, performance analysis, and forecasts of future performance across multiple criteria.
• Apply scenario planning and constraints in development of tools to optimize individual projects, capital improvement programs, and maintenance intervention strategies (including Reliability Centered Maintenance).
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes from multiple sources, ensuring scalability, efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
• Process confidential data and information according to data standards and information security protocols.
• Communicate and present data analytics insights to the team and clients, emphasizing implications for lifecycle decision-making about assets, business process improvement, and organizational strategy.
• Prepare visualizations and distillations of findings to incorporate into formal reports and documents.
• Assemble and analyze information about client organizations to understand gaps in current Asset Information Management capabilities.
• Identify organizational improvement opportunities and support the implementation of business transformation and technology change projects.
• Provide IT system implementation assurance and improve the effectiveness of data analytics within lifecycle information management.
• Assess gaps and recommend specific improvements to information standards, data quality assurance processes, and governance of information and IT systems.
• Deliver project work, including facilitating internal and external workshops, writing and editing reports, incorporating graphics and visualizations, and delivering presentations.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget; proactively identify and mitigate program and project risks; collaborate with technical assurance leads and subject matter experts; and coordinate among team members.
• Support business development and sales activities, including identifying new opportunities, supporting bid work, proposal writing, and presentation development.
• Contribute to leading thinking on emerging business and Asset Management topics.
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Requirements

The role requires a combination of education, formal training, and/or demonstrated experience specific to both infrastructure management and organizational management. You must have broad awareness of the following areas and demonstrate specific competence and experience in multiple of them:

• The state of the practice of Asset Management in one or more asset-intensive sectors, including power, transport, municipal assets, and data centers, and common challenges affecting their ability to achieve objectives.
• Systematic approaches to asset information management, including definition of business needs for information, information requirements and standards, data governance, and data quality assurance within Asset Management.
• IT systems that support and enable Asset Management, typical business drivers for IT procurement projects, and the systems engineering principles underpinning successful IT system procurement and delivery.
• End-to-end business processes such as asset investment planning, maintenance work planning and delivery, operational readiness planning, capital project handoff, asset performance monitoring and reporting, and management of change.
• Stakeholder and customer engagement and communication mechanisms for gathering and sharing information both inside and outside the organization.

Pay

The salary range for this full-time role is $140,000–$160,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent base salary only. Turner & Townsend AMCL reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
