About the role

The Manufacturing Assembly Associate is responsible for process monitoring and optimization, quality control, documentation and reporting, equipment maintenance, training and support, continuous improvement, and compliance and safety. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Flow Cytometry Team located in Indianapolis, IN. This is an on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • Follow engineering drawings and Manufacturing Assembly Procedures
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly of instrument modules
  • Perform assembly and module integration to complete final instrument

Requirements

  • High School degree (or equivalent) with 5 years’ experience
  • Possess a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to read and follow assembly instructions
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Using material handling equipment including hoists and hoist inspections to move parts and skids
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, walking

Training & Travel

This role requires traveling to Miami, FL, for training for at least 15 to 20 weeks.

  • Target hire date: September 8, 2026
  • Miami training: 9/21/2026–2/12/2027 (20 weeks)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Awareness of continuous improvement with participation in a kaizen project team
  • Manufacturing experience in an FDA-regulated environment
