Senior Assembler
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.
Responsibilities
- Attention to detail for parts and measurements, recognizing the impact of small changes.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using MS Office products.
- Correctly entering data from measurements and tests into a database on a computer.
- Reading and interpreting drawings and work instructions (OMS).
- Using small hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, etc., with acceptable results.
- Soldering and applying solder paste in accordance with J-610 standards.
- Soldering and tinning wires, monitoring with a Volt-Ohm Meter.
- Mixing and applying materials and coatings.
- Using and monitoring curing ovens.
- Selecting and using taps and dies correctly without damaging material.
- Mating water connections/fittings to prevent leaks.
- Assembling mechanical assemblies according to released documentation.
- Performing audits of materials issued to jobs.
- Creating labels as needed for assemblies according to drawings or OMS specifications.
- After training, understanding and complying with our Non-Conformance (NC) process.
- Building cable/harness assemblies according to drawings or OMS specifications.
