About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to join their Memory Management Unit. This role involves understanding and implementing verification strategies for the company's cutting-edge GPUs, which span from consumer graphics to advanced AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement verification strategies for the Memory Management Unit
  • Define verification scope and develop verification infrastructure including Testbenches, BFMs, Checkers, Monitors
  • Create and execute test/coverage plans to ensure design correctness
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and software engineers across different sites
  • Develop and refine methodologies for testbench development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work or research experience
  • Experience with Computer Architecture, ASIC design, and verification methodologies
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C/C++, and knowledge of functional coverage and assertion-based verification
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with simulation tools such as VCS, IES, and debug tools like Debussy, GDB
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of memory subsystem micro-architecture, cache topologies, memory management, interconnects, and arbiter designs is a plus
  • Experience with UVM, SystemVerilog checkers, and scoreboards
  • Assertion-based verification and semiformal verification (SFV) knowledge
  • Experience with Perl or Python

Skills

  • Strong SystemVerilog and C/C++ skills
  • Experience with constrained random testing and coverage closure
  • Ability to create reusable verification components
  • Experience with simulation and debug tools

Benefits

NVIDIA offers competitive compensation packages, including base salaries ranging from $136,000 to $218,500 for Level 3 and $168,000 to $264,500 for Level 4, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $218,500 for Level 3 and $168,000 - $264,500 for Level 4.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is full-time.
