Senior Architect
About the role
Vickers Design Group is currently accepting applications for an 8-10 year architect for their West Palm Beach office.
Responsibilities
- Initiate design and production of drawings
- Attend client and consultant meetings
- Increase knowledge regarding building codes, ADA, Life Safety Codes, and technical drawings
- Adhere to client specifications and design standards
- Attend construction meetings with project team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Architecture
- 8-10 years of commercial architectural experience leading projects through full lifecycle (programming, SD/DD/CD/CA)
- Advanced Revit proficiency (can independently produce and oversee full CD sets)
- Comfortable interfacing directly with clients, consultants and contractors
- Knowledge of Enscape, Bluebeam, Photoshop, InDesign
- Deep understanding of building codes and industry best practices
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines on time
