About the role
Join our cutting-edge team of applied scientists focused on advancing AI technologies for voice applications. We are seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to lead research and development efforts in natural language processing, speech recognition, and related areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and development projects in AI-driven voice solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers
- Develop and optimize algorithms for improved voice interaction experiences
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new AI models and systems
- Write technical documentation and present findings at internal and external conferences
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in AI and machine learning
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with large-scale data analysis and machine learning model training
- Knowledge of signal processing and audio engineering principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Expertise in natural language processing and speech recognition
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages
- Experience with cloud-based services and infrastructure
- Understanding of ethical considerations in AI development

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
