Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Apply expertise across areas such as:
    • Large Language Models (LLMs)
    • Generative AI
    • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
    • Computer Vision
    • Predictive Analytics
    • Recommendation Systems
  • Translate cutting-edge research and experimental AI concepts into scalable, enterprise-grade products.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where AI can drive business impact.
  • Establish technical best practices and influence AI strategy across the organization.
  • Build, optimize, and deploy AI solutions in cloud environments.
  • Help define the future direction of AI initiatives while mentoring and guiding technical teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience using languages such as:
    • Python
    • C#
    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • C/C++
  • 2+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks such as:
    • PyTorch
    • TensorFlow
    • Similar ML frameworks
  • Hands-on experience implementing generative AI, LLMs, or agent-based AI frameworks in production environments.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale AI/ML applications on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Machine Learning algorithms
    • Deep Learning architectures
    • Data structures
    • Optimization techniques
  • Experience with MLOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, or similar technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with:
    • Transformer architectures
    • Edge AI
    • Federated Learning
    • Real-time inference systems
  • Open-source contributions, patents, published research, or other thought leadership within the AI community.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $170,000.00 - $233,000.00/yr.

Schedule

Employees located near hub offices in Irvine, CA; Scottsdale, AZ; Chandler, AZ; Southfield, MI; or Plano, TX are expected to work onsite four days per week. This is a hybrid position in Irvine, CA.

This is a permanent position based out of Irvine, CA.
