Senior Applications Specialist | Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service and end-user support, including configuring applications, building system tables/dictionaries, creating user access, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution or escalation across our entire ERP system.
- Monitor service requests and system functionality, identify problems and root causes, and lead efforts to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with end users to implement, optimize, and maintain application systems and content.
- Serve as project manager for the implementation, support, and integration of healthcare information systems.
- Participate in system planning, design, build, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Manage work plans, timelines, and project tasks while coordinating with users, vendors, and leadership.
- Facilitate project teams and guide decision-making across departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Translate clinical and operational needs into functional system requirements.
- Serve as liaison between end users and software vendors.
- Aid in the development of system interfaces, workflow design, table mapping, and specification development.
- Conduct integrated system testing and apply quality management principles to ensure system reliability.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and issue management skills.
- Support change management and production system updates.
- Stay current with healthcare technology trends and pursue professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Health Information Technology, or related field, OR
- 5+ years of healthcare IT or related industry experience
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning
- Current Oracle Fusion certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Demonstrated project management experience, including implementation of software application systems
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism
- Solid understanding of personal computers and common software applications (such as Microsoft Office)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with hospital or clinic application systems
- Experience with Meditech and/or Oracle Fusion
- Experience supporting software application implementation and optimization
- Familiarity with database structures, reporting tools, or data management systems
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows and clinical operations

Day Shift – 8 Hours | Full-Time – 40 Hours
Following successful on-site onboarding, this role may offer the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work arrangement, based on performance and at the discretion of leadership.
